PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.
Assignments offered by DASH invariably involve working with Children or Vulnerable Adults. You therefore need to submit to enhanced vetting in line with safeguarding standards. This means we need to obtain references from ALL employers with whom you have been engaged in the last 5 years (minimum) and verify any gaps in your employment back to full-time education. To speed up this process, please provide in respect of;
EMPLOYMENT
Name address and contact for ALL employment roles during the past 5 years, including your current employer. (Your current employer will not be contacted prior to an offer of employment, without your consent).
SELF-EMPLOYMENT
Name and address of a professional (bank, accountant or solicitor) who can confirm they have dealt with you during this period.
AGENCY
If you were employed via an agency, because the company you were engaged at may not hold records, please provide the Name address and contact at the agency through whom you worked.
UNEMPLOYMENT
The address of the benefits office that dealt with you during the period. If you have not made a benefits claim, please provide personal referees (see below) who can confirm.
EDUCATION
Name address and contact at the school/college/university, who can confirm your attendance. Please also give your course title.
ORGANISATIONS THAT ARE NO LONGER TRADING
If an organization you were engaged at no longer exists, you will need to contact the Inland Revenue and obtain confirmation of your employment with the relevant organization including start/finish dates.
TRAVELING/GAPS IN EMPLOYMENT
If you have been traveling or not working, please provide dates of the travel period, relevant entry/exit stamps from your passport or a personal referee (see below) who can verify this.
PERSONAL
Where there is need for personal referees to verify gaps in employment, please provide the names and home addresses of 2 personal referees who must have known you for a minimum of 5 years. Family members, tutors, employers, colleagues and those who reside at the same address as you are NOT acceptable.
